Six patterns, six glyph types
Upright glyphs always have a circle on top. Triangle, diamond, and square use all six arrangements on the other sides. Each appears twice on the left, right, and bottom. Matching bottom symbols mean swapped left and right sides.
Each type has its own pattern. Rule out known patterns for the other types. Find five, and the sixth follows by elimination.
Discover and record sides
Record discovered sides in Notes. Every copy of a glyph shares its pattern. Click a side to cycle through symbols. Notes always shows colors.
Color Assist
Color Assist displays your recorded Notes colors around glyphs on the board. Unknown sides stay uncolored. Notes always shows colors, whether Color Assist is on or off.
Starting a run with Color Assist already on, or using it at any point during play, automatically marks that run as Assisted. Turning it off later keeps the Assisted label.
Choose how you solve
Standard
The side symbols are hidden. Discover their patterns from the starting clues and the connections you establish.
Easy
Easy reveals every side symbol so you can focus on placement and rotation. All matching and no-repeat rules still apply.
Switching to Easy before your first completion clears the board and notes and locks Standard for this puzzle, including replays. Complete Standard first to keep both replay modes available.
Submit and review your result
Submit checks that every square is filled, touching sides match, and no glyph type repeats in a row or column. Each full-board submission counts as an attempt.
Your saved result includes the game type (Standard or Easy), assistance (Assisted or Unassisted), time, and attempts. Your first completion is saved; replays keep that original result.
A few useful starting points
- Start with more connections. Choose a starting glyph with several neighbors. More touching sides give you more clues to its pattern.
- Check every touching edge. Try spaces with several neighbors. A glyph and its rotation must match every touching edge and obey the row and column rules.
- Use the row and column together. Count the different types across both. Four leave two possible types for the empty square; five leave one.
- Work between Notes and the board. A placement can reveal a side. A newly discovered side can unlock another placement. Keep updating your notes as you go.
